Getting Telegram alerts reliably
- Open the VIP channel, tap its name and turn notifications on. Pick a sound you'll notice.
- On Android, set Telegram's battery usage to Unrestricted so the phone doesn't hold alerts back. On iPhone, allow Telegram notifications with Time Sensitive on.
- Pin the VIP channel to the top of your chats, and mute the noisy groups instead.
The other two kinds of gold alert
Trade alerts come from a signal service. Two other alerts are worth having, and they come from elsewhere:
- Price alerts. For "tell me when gold reaches 4,150", use your broker's app or a charting platform. They're best for levels you've chosen yourself.
- News alerts. Gold reacts hardest to scheduled US data. Check the economic calendar at the start of each week and set reminders before NFP, CPI and FOMC.
Alerts to switch off
Every alert costs attention. "Gold is up 0.3%" alerts invite impulsive trades, medium and low impact news you won't act on is noise, and promotional messages from signal channels are adverts. Keep notifications on for @GoldSignalsDaily or VIP, and mute the rest.

How fast are the alerts?
Signals are posted the moment they're taken, and Telegram usually notifies within seconds. Delivery depends on your network and phone settings; on Android, let Telegram run unrestricted in battery settings.
Can I get alerts for VIP signals only?
Yes. Mute the free channel and keep the VIP channel's notifications on. Telegram lets you set notifications per channel.
Do you send price alerts?
No. Our alerts are about trades: new signals, targets and stops. For alerts at a price level you choose, use your broker's platform.
